Artist statement
I am happy when I meet new people, and I enjoy listening and dancing to music! I also love coming to Fine Line Studios! Painting, drawing, making jewelry, and ceramics are some of my favorite areas of art. My technique relies heavily on textures to create my artwork - scratching with oil pastels, using experimental materials and mixed media to create a textured surface, and using tape for resist paintings/drawings. I have enjoyed practicing what I have learned and trying new mediums to create a variety of textures. I want people who view my work to see what I feel. As an artist, I want to continue to experiment with materials, mixing colors, and work towards making larger artwork.
