ARTIST STATEMENT
My artwork is heavily informed by the decorative arts. I've always enjoyed looking at artwork with many different decorative marks, and this style has been my inspiration. The patterns and colors I use are an intuitive process - it's comfortable and comes naturally to me. Color is important to me, and I'm gravitated to bright colors. I want to see as many colors come together in my work.
